Proof of Concept – The Art of Riley Rossmo
This month of September we are very fortunate to present the works of local artist & illustrator Riley Rossmo. Rossmo is co-creator and illustrator of the comic series PROOF produced by Image comics. He has built an impressive body of work that includes illustration for the Red Hot Chili Peppers and the graphic novel Seven Sons.
Rossmo returns to Calgary fresh from the San Diego Comic Con, and ready to display his gritty and engaging style that crosses all forms of imaginative subject matter.
We will be showcasing a collection of prints, original pieces as well as copies of his publications. Oh and for fans of PROOF, we’ll have limited edition (as in one of a kind) original storyboards available.
Be sure to join us for our opening reception, as there is much to be seen! First, the chance to meet the man himself and if you ask nice, you may be able to get a hot off the press, signed copy of PROOF Book One. Oh and did I mention… LIVE MURAL PAINTING?!
